Founded in 1993, Changzhou Modern Expo Technology Co., Ltd. (CMET) is located in Changzhou, a central city in the Yangtze River Delta. Covering an area of 10,000 square meters, CMET is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the design and production of glass components and aluminum alloy doors and windows for automobiles, trains, and engineering machinery. For over three decades, CMET has remained dedicated to the field of equipment safety glass, building a complete system covering research and development, production, inspection, assembly, transportation, and after-sales service—driven by a long-term commitment to safeguarding every window.
Product Portfolio: Safety Glass for Every Application
Leveraging deep industry expertise, CMET offers a comprehensive product matrix covering glass components and metal structures:
- Car window series: heavy-duty and light-duty sliding windows, revolving windows, sash windows, and various customized windows, widely used in construction machinery, RVs, trucks, school buses, commuter buses, and subway operation vehicles;
- Car lights and reflectors series: reliable lighting and visibility solutions for demanding construction machinery applications;
- Cockpit safety glass series: providing a safe, clear view for the operator's cabin;
- Cockpit skylight glass and PC skylight series: combining safety with an open, well-lit cabin experience.
Window shapes can be flexibly designed to match vehicle body openings, delivering true "one vehicle, one custom window" solutions to meet the diverse and personalized needs of OEMs.
R&D Capability: Co-development with Global OEMs
With years of experience in developing car windows and glass for the construction machinery industry, CMET's R&D team consists of 6 professional technicians, including 3 certified engineers, with full capability for independent development and collaborative development with customers. From customer design input, to design output in international common 3D data formats such as IGS and STP, followed by customer approval and conversion into production, CMET has established an efficient, closed-loop customized development service. The company has been deeply involved in the research and development of internationally renowned enterprises such as Komatsu of Japan, Yamaha of North America, Kubota of Japan, and Sany Heavy Industries, and maintains long-term cooperation with several laboratories in China. All products strictly comply with drawings, technical agreements, and relevant international standards.
Manufacturing & Quality: Advanced Equipment, Rigorous Quality Control
On the production side, CMET is equipped with glass processing equipment including Glaston CNC cutting equipment from Italy, automatic screen printing equipment, NorthGlass tempering furnaces, and Intermac machining centers imported from Italy, as well as CNC aluminum profile cutting saws, multi-axis CNC drilling and milling machines, CNC press brakes, 3D welding work platforms, and powder coating lines—enabling full in-house manufacturing from glass processing to metal frame forming.
Quality is the foundation of CMET. The Quality Management Department operates under the direct leadership of top management, with quality inspection personnel accounting for 12% of the total workforce. Equipped with a full set of CTC glass testing equipment and performance testing equipment for car window products, CMET ensures that all windows meet the requirements of product type tests, with rigorous quality control and full traceability from raw materials to finished products.
Global Certification: Quality That Travels the World
With superior product quality, CMET was among the first to pass the IATF 16949:2016 quality management system certification and ISO 14001:2004 environmental management system certification. Its product safety certifications cover major global markets including China, the European Union, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, France, and Australia/New Zealand:
- China: CCC Certification (CCC-E003315, safety glass);
- European Union: E-Mark Certification (ECE E1-43R, safety glass and materials);
- United States: AMECA-DOT Certification (DOT-1007, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard) and ANSI/SAE Z26.1-1997;
- Japan: JIS 3211 (safety glazing materials for road vehicles);
- United Kingdom: BS 857-1967 (specification for safety glass for land transport);
- France: NF F31-129 1993-C (tempered safety glass standard);
- Australia/New Zealand: AS/NZS 2208:1996 (specification for safety glazing materials).
